Lautoka, the host district, has been eliminated from the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC) following a 1-1 draw with Suva in their final Group A match at Churchill Park. The Blues needed a victory to secure a place in the semifinals, while Suva required a win by more than three goals to advance.
Lautoka took the lead in the 31st minute with a striking goal from veteran midfielder Zibraaz Sahib. However, Suva equalized in the 58th minute with a goal from Ni-Vanuatu player Joe Moses.
As a result of this match, Navua has qualified for the semifinals alongside Labasa from Group A.
