Lautoka’s IDC Dreams Dashed in Dramatic Draw!

Lautoka, the host district, has been eliminated from the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC) following a 1-1 draw against Suva in their final Group A match at Churchill Park. The Blues required a victory to secure a semifinal spot, while Suva needed to win by more than three goals to advance. Lautoka took the lead in the 31st minute with a superb goal from veteran midfielder Zibraaz Sahib. Suva equalized in the 58th minute thanks to a goal from Ni-Vanuatu Joe Moses. As a result, Navua has clinched a semifinal berth alongside Labasa from Group A.
