Lautoka’s Goalkeeping Boost: Veteran Keeper Joins IDC Campaign!

Lautoka’s efforts in the upcoming 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC) have received a significant boost with the addition of seasoned goalkeeper Beniamino Mateinaqara. Currently based in Auckland, New Zealand, Mateinaqara has been released by his employer, Rams Group of Companies, to enhance Lautoka’s goalkeeping lineup, which has faced challenges recently. The former national goalkeeper has a history of winning IDC titles and has previously represented several teams, including Ba, Navua, Nadi, and Suva, in addition to his hometown team, Lautoka. Flick Hygiene Lautoka will compete in Group A alongside Suva, Navua, and Labasa, and is set to play against Navua in their opening match at 6 pm next Tuesday.
