Lautoka Welcomes New Arrivals: What’s Docking This Week?

Several vessels are anticipated to reach the Port of Lautoka this week, as per the schedule from Fiji Ports Terminal Ltd. Incoming ships will include both cargo vessels and cruise liners.

Among the expected arrivals is the MSC NILA II container ship, set to dock on August 21, accompanied by Kota Hening. The MSC NILA II, built in 2001, is currently registered under the Liberian flag and has an average cruising speed of 16.5 knots, encountering average wind speeds of 12.9 knots. This vessel frequently visits ports such as Suva, Lautoka, Bell Bay, Noumea, and Brisbane.

Kota Hening is also scheduled to arrive on August 21. According to Vessel Finder, this 21-year-old container ship is operating under the Singapore flag and is currently moving at a speed of 0.7 knots.

Additionally, the Pacific Explorer from P&O Cruises Australia is expected to arrive at Lautoka Port on August 25.
