The Lautoka Homeland Enforcement team continued their impressive performance in the Extra Supermarket Futsal IDC competition, achieving a 5-3 victory over Nadi during day two of the tournament held at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
The win marked Lautoka’s second consecutive triumph, with goals coming from players Zibraaz Sahib, Aporosa Yada (who netted two), and seasoned player Taniela Waqa. Nadi responded with goals from Mohammed Shalmeen, Bir Khan, and Mohammed Ayman, but ultimately fell short.
Lautoka’s coach, Waseem Kutty, praised his team’s commitment to following game instructions despite the challenging match.
