Lautoka Port Set for a Busy Week Ahead!

Several more vessels are anticipated to dock at the Port of Lautoka this week, according to the schedule published by Fiji Ports Terminal Ltd. The incoming ships include cargo vessels and cruise liners.

The MSC NILA II container ship is scheduled to arrive on August 21, alongside the Kota Hening. Built in 2001, the MSC NILA II is currently registered under the flag of Liberia and operates at an average speed of 16.5 knots, with average winds of 12.9 knots. This vessel frequently visits ports such as Suva, Lautoka, Bell Bay, Noumea, and Brisbane.

On the same day, the Kota Hening is also expected to reach Lautoka. As reported by the Vessel Finder website, this 21-year-old container ship is registered in Singapore and is currently sailing at a speed of 0.7 knots.

Additionally, P&O Cruises Australia’s Pacific Explorer is set to arrive at Lautoka Port on August 25.
