The Ministry of Multi-Ethnic Affairs has launched a new divisional office in Lautoka aimed at improving government service delivery and bolstering support for Multi-Ethnic communities throughout the Western Division. Located at the Sugar House on Marine Drive, this latest initiative promises to make government services more accessible, enhancing policy implementation and community engagement.

Minister Charan Jeath Singh stated that this opening represents a significant milestone for the Ministry, underscoring the government’s commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that no community is overlooked. He clarified that the new office will play a crucial role in facilitating better access to government programs and services for diverse ethnic communities.

This recent development follows the Ministry’s previous efforts to fortify support for minority groups, as highlighted by the recent opening of another permanent office in the Northern Division, which also aims to provide administrative support and community engagement. Minister Singh’s remarks about establishing a strategic direction for the Ministry resonate strongly with the government’s vision of fostering inclusivity and social cohesion across the nation.

The creation of the Lautoka office is part of a broader initiative to strengthen ties between the government and its various constituents. By enhancing outreach and support for Multi-Ethnic communities, the Ministry is paving the way for a more unified Fiji, where every citizen’s voice is acknowledged and valued.

By reinforcing these connections and creating additional resources for community engagement, the government is not only addressing immediate needs but also nurturing a sustainable environment for future growth and solidarity among diverse populations.

This initiative embodies hope for a more inclusive future, demonstrating that through strategic community engagement and access to services, all ethnic groups can thrive together.
