Lautoka Football Club has received valuable support ahead of the FMF Inter District Championship (IDC) set to take place next Tuesday at Churchill Park, thanks to a sponsorship from Flick Hygiene. The company, a steadfast backer of Lautoka FC throughout the season, presented a significant cheque, although the specific amount was not revealed.
Flick Hygiene’s managing director, Mohammed Zakariah, expressed his enthusiasm about collaborating with the defending champions, stating, “It’s a privilege to sponsor Lautoka FC.”
In response, club president Shalend Prasad acknowledged the vital contribution from Flick Hygiene, highlighting the difficulties organizations face in securing sponsorships. “It’s very hard to get sponsors nowadays, but we thank Flick for stepping in this season and helping us,” Prasad remarked.
Lautoka FC has enjoyed a successful season thus far, having clinched two major titles: the Fiji FACT and the Battle of the Giants tournaments. With the IDC being hosted on their home turf, the team is eager to add another trophy to their achievements.
“Our goal now is to win the IDC,” Prasad stated as the club aims to defend their home ground in the illustrious tournament.
