In the women’s category, there are currently six teams registered for Tier Three, with a goal of securing eight teams. Tier Four, featuring Under-19 teams, has eight confirmed participants, but the aspiration is also to attract a total of 16 teams. Voter Registration ID cards will verify the ages of players in this category.
Finau emphasized that the registration is on a first-come, first-served basis across all categories, with a deadline looming tomorrow. The tournament is set to raise $30,000, intended to support the completion of the Nataleira Methodist Church building, which has faced destruction during major cyclones.
Ticket prices for the event are affordable, set at $2 for children under 12 years and $5 for adults on Thursday and Friday; on Saturday, the prices are $2 for children and $7 for adults.
