Labasa has maintained its lead in the Extra Supermarket Premier League by securing a 4-2 victory over Nasinu in Round One of the competition over the weekend. The Babasiga Lions have demonstrated impressive form, winning seven out of their nine matches this season.
Rewa currently sits in second place, also achieving seven wins from nine matches, with a commanding 5-1 triumph against Calgary Nadi. Ba follows in third with 14 points, having won four of their nine games thus far.
The Fiji Football Association reports that these standings will remain unchanged until the league takes a break to accommodate the BiC Fiji FACT tournament. This tournament will kick off with its group stage scheduled from May 30 to June 1, followed by knockout rounds on June 7 and 8, all taking place at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
