The Labasa Under-19 Men’s team secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over Ba in the Extra Supermarket Youth League match at the Fiji Football Academy in Suva. The team was inspired by captain Sahil Deo, whose motivational words during halftime rallied the players after a scoreless first half.

In the second half, Labasa took the lead in the 54th minute, followed by Ba equalizing shortly after. However, Labasa was relentless and regained the advantage with goals in the 64th and 70th minutes, establishing a solid 3-1 lead. Ba managed to score again in the 90th minute, but despite their efforts to equalize in the final minutes, Labasa held on to secure the win.

This victory marks a significant moment for Labasa as they continue to build momentum in the youth league, showcasing their determination to perform well for their fans who showed up in large numbers to support the team.
