The head coach of Labasa, Ravneel Pratap, announced that the prize money earned from the inter-district competition will be distributed among the players. He mentioned that the team president, Rayaz Khan, along with other officials, is currently developing a plan for the distribution.
Pratap stated, “Every year when we win a tournament, our president has always said that the money is not kept. They consistently distribute it to the players and officials, and this year is no different.” He highlighted that this practice has become a yearly tradition among the current executives.
“Our focus has always been on winning. Teamwork and mutual trust are crucial to our success,” he added. Pratap expressed gratitude to their supporters for their strong turnout at the event. He also thanked everyone involved in the celebration, especially their main sponsor, Extra.
He remarked on the pride that the victory brings not only to the team but also to the entire community in the North.
