Labasa is set to welcome a new $2.1 million commercial office complex. The project, initiated last month by Vinesh Dayal, managing director of VCORP Pte Limited, will feature a two-storey building situated along Sangam Avenue, directly across from the Sangam College of Nursing and Health Care Education in Labasa Town.
Dayal, who also owns several businesses including LunchBox Restaurant Limited and Hotel North Pole, stated that this investment aims to provide local business operators with office space that may otherwise be hard to secure. The complex is being constructed by an in-house team, with expected completion by December.
Office spaces in the new building are anticipated to be available for occupancy starting January 2025. Dayal described the project as a 600 square meter commercial complex that will introduce a promising brand from Viti Levu, contributing further value to Labasa.
Expressing confidence in the local economy and the community, Dayal emphasized his commitment to creating job opportunities and fostering investments. He believes that Labasa has ample potential for diverse business ventures, encouraging others to witness the evolving landscape of the town.
As the president of the Labasa Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Dayal is keen on inspiring fellow members to pursue significant opportunities.
