The Labasa Under-19 Men’s team achieved a remarkable 3-2 win over Ba in an extra thrilling encounter during the Extra Supermarket Youth League at the Fiji Football Academy in Suva. Kicking off the second half, Labasa struck first with a goal in the 54th minute. Ba quickly responded with an equalizer, but Labasa demonstrated their relentless spirit, scoring twice more in the 64th and 70th minutes to establish a 3-1 lead. Though Ba managed to net another goal in the 90th minute, they could not find a way to tie the game, allowing Labasa to hold on for the victory.

This win is a critical achievement for Labasa as they build momentum in the youth league, showcasing their determination and the strong support from fans who attended the match in large numbers.

Notably, Labasa’s senior team has also seen recent success, such as a 2-0 victory over Nasinu in the Digicel Fiji Premier League, ensuring they remain competitive in the standings.
