Labasa Triumphs in U14 Championships: A Nail-Biting Victory!

Host Labasa won the U14 title at the 2024 Fiji Primary Schools Inter District Championship (IDC) held at Subrail Park yesterday. The team, coached by Sachin Deo, secured a 1-0 victory over Nadi in an exciting final, with striker Solomone Driver scoring the decisive goal in the second half. This triumph is particularly meaningful for the young players, as they had been eliminated in the semifinals last year. Additionally, it aligns with the recent IDC victory of the main district team in Lautoka. In the Girls Division, the title also remained in the North as Bua triumphed over Labasa in a closely contested final, winning 2-1 on penalties.
