Labasa emerged as champions of the U14 category at the 2024 Fiji Primary Schools Inter District Championship (IDC) held at Subrail Park yesterday. The team, coached by Sachin Deo, secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Nadi in a closely fought final, with striker Solomone Driver netting the decisive goal in the second half. This win is particularly meaningful for the young players, who had been eliminated in the semifinals the previous year, and it aligns with the success of the main district team, which also recently claimed an IDC title in Lautoka. In the Girls Division, Bua took home the title after defeating Labasa 2-1 in a tense penalty shootout.
