Host Labasa secured the U14 title at the 2024 Fiji Primary Schools Inter District Championship (IDC) held at Subrail Park yesterday. The team, coached by Sachin Deo, triumphed over Nadi with a narrow 1-0 victory in a hard-fought final. Striker Solomone Driver netted the decisive goal in the second half, marking a significant achievement for the young athletes after they were eliminated in the semifinals last year. This victory aligns with the success of the main district team’s recent IDC win in Lautoka. In the Girls Division, the title remained in the Northern region as Bua claimed victory over Labasa in a closely contested final, winning 2-1 on penalties.
