Labasa hosted the U14 championship at the 2024 Fiji Primary Schools Inter District Championship (IDC) held at Subrail Park yesterday, securing the title. The team, coached by Sachin Deo, triumphed over Nadi with a narrow 1-0 victory, thanks to a decisive goal from striker Solomone Driver in the second half. This win was particularly meaningful for the young team, as they had been eliminated in the semifinals the previous year, and it aligns with the recent success of the main district team, which also won the IDC in Lautoka. In the Girls Division, the title remained in the Northern region as Bua overcame Labasa in a closely fought final, winning 2-1 on penalties.
