Labasa is set to welcome a new commercial office complex worth $2.1 million. The project was launched last month by Vinesh Dayal, managing director of VCORP Pte Limited.

This two-story building will be situated along Sangam Avenue, directly across from the Sangam College of Nursing and Health Care Education in Labasa Town. Dayal, who also owns several businesses including LunchBox Restaurant Limited and Hotel North Pole, aims to provide office space for local business owners who may struggle to secure their own locations.

The construction, managed by the company’s in-house team, is slated for completion by December, with office space available for occupancy starting January 2025.

“This 600 square metre commercial complex aims to introduce a new brand from Viti Levu to enhance Labasa’s offerings,” Dayal stated. He expressed strong confidence in the local economy and is committed to creating job opportunities and driving further investments in the region.

Dayal emphasized the growing potential in Labasa, encouraging others to visit and see the progress for themselves. As the president of the Labasa Chamber of Commerce and Industries, he aspires to inspire fellow members to take significant steps for their businesses as well.
