Labasa is set to welcome a new commercial office complex valued at $2.1 million. The project, spearheaded by VCORP Pte Limited’s managing director, Vinesh Dayal, commenced last month.
Situated on Sangam Avenue Street, directly across from the Sangam College of Nursing and Health Care Education, the building will feature two stories. Mr. Dayal, who also owns several establishments including LunchBox Restaurant Limited and Hotel North Pole, expressed his motivation for this venture.
“We are investing in this project to provide business operators an opportunity for office space that they may not have been able to secure otherwise,” Mr. Dayal stated.
Construction is being managed by an in-house team and is anticipated to be finished by December, with office spaces expected to be available for occupancy starting January 2025.
“This 600 square meter commercial complex will introduce an exciting brand from Viti Levu, enhancing the value of Labasa,” Mr. Dayal noted.
He expressed strong confidence in the local economy, emphasizing a commitment to fostering job creation and investment opportunities. “You can sell anything and everything in Labasa. One must visit to truly appreciate what Labasa town has become,” he remarked.
As president of the Labasa Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Mr. Dayal is dedicated to leading by example, inspiring fellow members to take significant steps for the community’s growth.
