Labasa is set to welcome a new $2.1 million commercial office complex. The project, initiated by VCORP Pte Limited managing director Vinesh Dayal last month, is slated for construction as a two-story building situated along Sangam Avenue Street, directly across from the Sangam College of Nursing and Health Care Education in Labasa Town.
Vinesh Dayal, who also owns several businesses including the LunchBox Restaurant Limited, Hotel North Pole, and Vualiku Hotel and Apartments, stated that the goal of this investment is to provide local business operators with office space they may have struggled to secure.
The project, managed by Dayal’s in-house construction company, is anticipated to be completed by December, with office space available for occupation starting in January 2025.
“This 600 square meter commercial complex will introduce a new brand from Viti Levu, adding significant value to Labasa,” Dayal remarked. He expressed strong confidence in the local economy and emphasized his commitment to creating job opportunities and attracting further investment.
Dayal also highlighted the diverse business potential in Labasa, encouraging people to visit and explore the town’s offerings. As the president of the Labasa Chamber of Commerce and Industries, he aims to inspire fellow members to take bold steps in business development.
