Labasa is set to welcome a new commercial office complex valued at $2.1 million. The project was initiated by Vinesh Dayal, managing director of VCORP Pte Limited, last month. This two-story building will be strategically located along Sangam Avenue Street, across from the Sangam College of Nursing and Health Care Education in Labasa Town.

Mr. Dayal, who has a portfolio that includes the LunchBox Restaurant Limited, Hotel North Pole, Vualiku Hotel and Apartments, and other ventures, stated that the investment aims to offer business operators the chance to secure their own office space, which may be difficult to find otherwise. The construction is being handled by an in-house team, with an anticipated completion date set for December.

The new office spaces are expected to be available for occupancy starting January 2025. According to Mr. Dayal, this 600 square meter facility will introduce an exciting brand from Viti Levu, enhancing the value of Labasa.

“I have a lot of confidence in our economy, beloved nation, and our people, and we will continue to create new job opportunities and investments,” he expressed. Mr. Dayal emphasized the potential for business growth in Labasa, encouraging others to visit and see the town’s offerings firsthand. He added that Labasa is undergoing a transformation and hopes to set a trend for other members of the Labasa Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
