Labasa is set to welcome a new commercial office complex valued at $2.1 million. The project, spearheaded by VCORP Pte Limited managing director Vinesh Dayal, commenced last month.
This two-storey complex will be situated along Sangam Avenue, directly across from the Sangam College of Nursing and Health Care Education in Labasa Town. Dayal, who also owns several businesses including LunchBox Restaurant Limited and Hotel North Pole, stated that the initiative aims to provide business operators with the opportunity to secure office space.
Led by an in-house construction team, the project is anticipated to reach completion by December, with office spaces expected to be available starting January 2025. Dayal highlighted that the 600 square metre complex will introduce a new brand from Viti Levu to enhance the offerings in Labasa.
He expressed confidence in the local economy and reiterated his commitment to creating job opportunities and new investments in the region. Dayal emphasized that Labasa has much to offer and encouraged others to visit to witness its transformation. As the president of Labasa Chamber of Commerce and Industries, he aims to motivate fellow members to embrace growth and innovation in their ventures.
