Labasa has secured a place in the semi-finals of the FMF Inter District Championship following a hard-fought 2-1 victory against hosts Lautoka at Churchill Park. The Babasiga Lions got off to an impressive start with two goals from Christopher Wasasala in the first half, leading 2-0 at the break. Lautoka made a comeback with a powerful shot from Saula Waqa from 20 yards out. However, Labasa faced a setback when Wasasala received a red card for a second yellow offense, leaving them with only ten players.
