Labasa will aim to leverage their home advantage this weekend when they take on Rewa FC in the second leg of the Pillay Garment Champion versus Champion series at Subrail Park.

Coach Priyant Manu emphasized the importance of support from the home crowd, especially with several young players stepping up to fill the gaps left by their more experienced teammates who have transitioned to Extra Bula FC for the OFC Pro League season. Despite the challenges, Manu feels that the team is gradually finding its rhythm after their recent match.

In the first leg, held last weekend at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori, Labasa faced a narrow defeat, losing 1–0 to Rewa. With this in mind, the Labasa side is determined to return stronger, with Manu urging fans to rally behind the team once again on Saturday.

“The boys are adjusting well, and after this first game we are slowly finding our rhythm. This will also be our last chance to prove ourselves in this series against Rewa, and we want to do it for our fans. So please come out and support the boys this weekend,” said Manu.

The players are aware that making a comeback will be challenging, but their determination to showcase their skills and bring pride to their district remains unwavering. The match is set to kick off at Subrail Park on Saturday at 1:30 PM, and Labasa is hoping for a strong turnout from their supporters.
