Labasa FC Excited for Debut of Three Solomon Islands Players in Digicel Fiji Premier League Clash

Extra Supermarket Labasa FC is eagerly anticipating the debut of their three new Solomon Islands players, Tigi Molea, Atkin Kaua, and Junior Fotney, as they prepare to face Nadroga in the Digicel Fiji Premier League match in round 11 today.

The game is scheduled to start at 1.30pm at Subrail Park in Labasa, and the home team is ready to put on an impressive performance for their fans.

Head coach Ravneel Pratap expressed satisfaction with the team’s preparations, noting the players’ dedication in training.

“The team has been training hard and working together to get ready for this important game,” said Pratap.

“Our last game against Rewa was a close one, and we won 1-0. One thing we need to work on is our decision-making, both with and without the ball, as it’s been an issue for us this season. We’re trying to fix that.

“Nadroga is a tough team, and we know this will be a challenging match. We’re taking it seriously and will give it our all.

“Our new Solomon Island players will be playing their first game with us, and we’re excited to see how they perform and help the team.”

Pratap is hopeful for strong performances from the new players. With the support of a passionate home crowd, Labasa is determined to deliver a stellar performance and secure a positive result against Nadroga.

Meanwhile, four matches are scheduled for tomorrow. Navua will battle Lautoka at the Uprising Sports Ground at 3pm, while Rewa will host Suva at Ratu Cakobau Park at the same time. At the Fiji FA ground in Vatuwaqa, Tailevu Naitasiri will face Ba at 1pm, followed by Nadi taking on Nasinu at 3pm.
