Labasa will face a significant challenge in Saturday’s Digicel Fiji Premier League Round 14 match against T/Naitasiri at Subrail Park, as they will be without three key players. Veteran utility Taniela Waqa is sidelined due to a knee injury, while skipper Christopher Wasasala and Akeimi Ralulu are suspended after receiving two yellow cards each.

Coach Ravneel Pratap recognized the difficulty of the upcoming match, particularly with the Lions aiming to extend their home winning streak. “We know Naitasiri will come prepared. They’re fighting to get out of the relegation zone, and we’re fighting to climb up the ladder,” stated Pratap. He expressed hope for an exciting match, emphasizing the team’s desire to perform well at home.

With these absences, Labasa will need to rally to achieve a win in front of their supporters. The match is set to kick off at 1:30 PM.
