Labasa head coach Ravneel Pratap has stated that the team is focused on boosting their morale ahead of their Round 14 DFPL match against T/Naitasiri, with the aim of continuing their home victory streak.
In an interview, Pratap acknowledged that the team’s confidence was shaken following their 4-2 defeat to Lautoka in Round 13 last week.
“The morale has decreased after the game against Lautoka, so it’s crucial to keep the players concentrated and prepared, especially since we are playing at home. We have not lost any DFPL matches at Subrail Park this season, and we want to keep it that way,” Pratap explained.
The coach emphasized that Labasa’s primary goal is to improve their defense, which struggled during the recent Battle of the Giants tournament.
“The players are eager to score, but they must not neglect their defensive duties, as that is where they get penalized,” he added.
