The prize money from the inter-district competition will be distributed among the players, according to Labasa’s head coach, Ravneel Pratap.
Pratap mentioned that the team’s president, Rayaz Khan, along with the officers, are currently devising a distribution plan. “Every year we win a tournament, our president has always declared that they never retain the prize money,” he stated. “They always distribute it to the players and officers, and this year they have assured us that the players will receive their share.”
He added that this practice has become a tradition under the current executives each year. “Our main focus has always been on winning. Teamwork and mutual trust are essential for our success.”
Pratap expressed gratitude to the supporters for their significant turnout to cheer for the team. “I would also like to thank everyone who participated in today’s celebration, especially our main sponsor, Extra. It feels fantastic to have all the fans with us for this celebration.”
He emphasized that this victory represents pride not only for the team but for the entire community in the North.
