The prize money from the recent inter-district competition will be allocated among the players, according to Labasa’s head coach, Ravneel Pratap.
Coach Pratap mentioned that the team’s president, Rayaz Khan, along with other officials, is currently formulating the distribution plan. He noted, “Every year that we win a tournament, our president has always declared that they never keep it.”
Pratap emphasized that this year is no different, as they have committed to distributing the funds to players. He highlighted that this practice has been a consistent tradition among the current executives each year.
“Our focus has always been on winning. Teamwork and trust in each other are key to our success,” he stated. He also expressed gratitude towards the supporters who came out in large numbers to back the team.
“I would also like to thank everyone involved in the celebration today, especially Extra, our main sponsor. It’s a great feeling to have all the fans with us during this celebration.”
He concluded by saying that their victory is not only a point of pride for the team but also for the entire community in the North.
