Labasa’s head coach Ravneel Pratap has stated that the team is focusing on boosting their morale as they prepare for the Round 14 DFPL match against T/Naitasiri, aiming to uphold their home winning streak.
In an interview, Pratap acknowledged that the team’s confidence has been shaken following their 4-2 defeat to Lautoka in Round 13 last week.
“The morale has dropped after the match against Lautoka, so it’s crucial to keep the players focused and prepared, especially at home. We remain unbeaten in any DFPL matches this season at Subrail Park, and we aim to keep it that way,” Pratap remarked.
The coach emphasized that Labasa’s primary objective is to fortify their defense, which had shown vulnerabilities during the Battle of the Giants tournament.
“The players are eager to score, but they sometimes neglect their defensive responsibilities, which leads to them being punished,” he noted.
