Labasa has secured their place in the semi-finals of the FMF Inter District Championship after a hard-fought 2-1 victory against the host team, Lautoka, at Churchill Park. The Babasiga Lions got off to a fantastic start with two impressive goals scored by Christopher Wasasala in the first half, leading 2-0 at halftime. Lautoka fought back with a powerful strike from Saula Waqa from 20 yards out. However, Labasa faced a setback when Wasasala received a red card for a second yellow card offense, reducing the team to ten players. Tomorrow, Labasa will face Navua, while Lautoka will take on Suva.
