Kyle Schwarber is set to return to the Philadelphia Phillies, having finalized a substantial five-year contract worth $150 million, according to a source close to the negotiations. Schwarber, a standout in the recent free agency market, had a remarkable season with the Phillies, where he achieved career records by leading the National League with 56 home runs and attaining a major league-high of 132 RBIs. Additionally, he scored an impressive 111 runs, contributing significantly to the Phillies’ second consecutive NL East title. His performance included setting a major league record for left-handed hitters by hitting 23 home runs against left-handed pitching, surpassing previous records held by legends Stan Musial and Matt Olson.
