Fiji Bati international Kurt Donoghoe has signed an extension with the National Rugby League team, the Dolphins, securing his position until the conclusion of 2025. Initially set to complete his contract with the club, Donoghoe’s tenure has now been prolonged for an additional season.

Since his arrival at the Dolphins in 2022, the halfback has participated in 16 matches and has also represented Fiji Bati on five occasions. Matt Hartigan, the Dolphins’ Head of Academy and Fijian Assistant Coach, praised Donoghoe for his strong work ethic and creativity, highlighting him as a valuable asset to the team. “When he plays direct, and he gets the ball in his hands, he’s got the creativity to make the guys around him look good,” Hartigan remarked.

This contract extension not only reflects Donoghoe’s talent and contribution to the Dolphins but also emphasizes the club’s commitment to nurturing promising players. It showcases a hopeful path ahead for both the player and the franchise as they aim for greater success in the coming seasons.
