Krishna’s Absence: Fiji Bula Boys Gear Up for Tri-Nations Challenge!

Roy Krishna, captain of the Digicel Fiji Bula Boys, will not participate in the opening match of the FIFA International “A” Friendlies Tri-Nations Series 2024 against the Solomon Islands. Krishna is currently in India preparing for the upcoming season of the Indian Super League with Odisha FC and is expected to rejoin the team for their second match against Hong Kong-China in Lautoka.

Team manager Kartik Reddy reported that the team has commenced its second week of training under head coach Rob Sherman. The training regimen includes two sessions each day, with a focus on strength and conditioning in the mornings, and tactical and technical drills in the afternoons.

Fiji will take on the Solomon Islands on Monday, September 2, at 7 pm at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. The Solomon Islands are set to face Hong Kong-China on Thursday, September 5, at 7 pm, also at the same venue. Fiji’s final match will be against Hong Kong-China on Sunday, September 8, at 3 pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka. Tickets for the matches are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10.
