KPMG Unveils Cutting-Edge AI Office in Fiji

KPMG Enterprise has inaugurated a new technology-oriented office in Garden City, Suva. This office will serve as part of KPMG Enterprise’s Fiji Dynamix (FDX) network, which consists of a specialized team dedicated to assisting KPMG’s Australian firm and its clientele.

Additionally, professionals from KPMG’s Connected Technology Group (CTG) will be stationed at the new office, concentrating on enhancing digital innovation and artificial intelligence capabilities for KPMG’s clients.

During the official opening, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade Manoa Kamikamica emphasized that the launch of the KPMG AI Build Hub signifies more than just an infrastructure investment. He highlighted KPMG’s dedication to integrating new technologies and the potential of local talent in driving innovation.

This new office is KPMG’s second opening in the last year, following the establishment of the Star One office in Nadi in 2023. National Managing Partner of KPMG Enterprise, Naomi Mitchell, remarked on the rapid expansion of the South Pacific Practice and noted that the office would address the rising demand for digital development and AI support.

KPMG Australia’s Chief Digital Officer, John Munnelly, stated that this new location is a result of considerable investment to cater to the increasing need for digital and AI solutions, including the firm’s AI Build Hub. He underscored the importance of leveraging local talent in Fiji to provide innovative solutions.

KPMG Fiji’s Managing Partner, Lisa Apted, mentioned that the new office will accommodate 40 employees with expertise in software development, engineering, and AI technical services. She expressed enthusiasm for the new office being strategically located near the Central Business District and for providing advanced facilities for the expanding FDX and CTG teams.

KPMG also maintains an office in Suva Central.
