Osea Kolinisau, the head coach of the Fiji Airways Fiji Sevens Men’s team, expressed his gratitude for the commitment and perseverance exhibited by both the players and management throughout the year. Taking up the coaching role in March, Kolinisau has begun to see positive outcomes from his efforts and hard work. He noted the challenges he faced, particularly the difficult decision to leave his family and return to Fiji to pursue his coaching aspirations. He emphasized the importance of support from loved ones as he embarked on this path.
As the team gears up for the upcoming Sevens Series campaign in Perth, scheduled for January 24-26, 2025, Kolinisau remains optimistic about what the future holds for the team.
