The Fiji Rugby Union is currently awaiting Osea Kolinisau’s final decision regarding his future as the head coach of the Fiji 7s men’s team. FRU interim chair Peter Mazey mentioned that they had positive discussions with Kolinisau before his departure to visit family in the United States. Mazey emphasized their desire to retain Kolinisau as head coach prior to the team’s return from the Paris Olympic Games. The 2016 Olympic gold medal-winning captain has also expressed his intention to remain in the role.
