The Kings Road will be closed temporarily this Sunday from 7 am to 7 pm, affecting the Suva-bound lanes between the Naulu Road junction and the Adi Lady Davila Road junction.
The Fiji Roads Authority announced that this closure is essential for trimming trees that are encroaching on the pedestrian footpath, cycle lane, and bus shelter, as they present safety risks for both pedestrians and motorists.
During the closure, traffic headed to Suva will be redirected via Nakasi Road, Vavalagi Road, and Vishnu Deo Road.
