Fiji Bati star Viliame Kikau, who had a standout performance during the 2024 NRL season with the Bulldogs, has been honored with the 2024 Dr. George Peponis Medallist award. After a challenging previous year in which he played only nine games, the 30-year-old enjoyed one of his finest seasons in the NRL.
Over the course of 22 matches, Kikau scored four tries, assisted in four others, made 41 offloads, and broke the defensive line 10 times. His international career began in 2015 when he made his debut for Fiji against Papua New Guinea in the Melanesian Cup, contributing from the bench during the 22-10 victory at Robina Stadium.
