Fiji Bati star Viliame Kikau has been honored for his outstanding performance during the 2024 NRL season with the Bulldogs by being awarded the 2024 Dr. George Peponis Medallist. After a challenging previous year in which he played only nine games, the 30-year-old enjoyed one of his best seasons yet. He participated in 22 matches, scoring four tries, setting up another four, offloading 41 times, and breaking through defensive lines on 10 occasions. Kikau made his international debut for Fiji in 2015 against Papua New Guinea during the Melanesian Cup, coming off the bench in a 22-10 victory at Robina Stadium.
