Fiji Bati star Viliame Kikau, who showcased his exceptional talent during the 2024 NRL season with the Bulldogs, has been honored as the recipient of the 2024 Dr. George Peponis Medallist. After facing a challenging previous year with only nine game appearances, the 30-year-old delivered one of his finest seasons in the NRL. He played in 22 matches, netting four tries, assisting on four others, achieving 41 offloads, and breaking through the defense 10 times. Kikau made his international debut for Fiji in 2015, contributing to a 22-10 victory over Papua New Guinea in the Melanesian Cup at Robina Stadium.
