Fiji Bati star Viliame Kikau has been honored for his exceptional performance during the 2024 NRL season with the Bulldogs, being named the recipient of the 2024 Dr. George Peponis Medallist. After a challenging previous year where he made only nine appearances, the 30-year-old showcased one of his most impressive seasons yet, participating in 22 matches. During this season, he scored four tries, assisted in four others, made 41 offloads, and broke through the defensive line ten times. Kikau first represented Fiji internationally in 2015, coming off the bench in their Melanesian Cup match against Papua New Guinea, contributing to a 22-10 victory at Robina Stadium.
