Fiji Bati star Viliame Kikau has been honored with the 2024 Dr. George Peponis Medallist for his outstanding performance during the 2024 NRL season with the Bulldogs. After a challenging previous year in which he played only nine games, the 30-year-old displayed one of his best seasons to date, featuring in 22 matches. Throughout the season, Kikau scored four tries, assisted on four others, made 41 offloads, and broke through opponents’ defenses ten times. His international journey began in 2015 when he made his debut for Fiji against Papua New Guinea in the Melanesian Cup, contributing from the bench to a 22-10 victory at Robina Stadium.
