The Fiji Football Association, in collaboration with the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB), is set to conduct a weeklong grassroots coaching course focused on enhancing women’s football in Fiji.
Timo Jankowski, the Technical Director of Fiji FA, emphasized that this is an excellent opportunity for local coaches to gain insight from KNVB’s well-respected coach education programs. He noted, “KNVB is recognized globally for their high-level coach education, and having them involved marks a significant step forward in developing football in Fiji.”
The training course will take place from October 7 to 11 at the Fiji FA Academy located in Ba. It will cater to 33 coaches, including 31 individuals from Fiji with varied backgrounds such as primary school teachers, players, and district coaches, along with two participants from Tuvalu.
