Public Service Commission Chairperson Luke Rokovada has informed that names have been forwarded to Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka for the position of Permanent Secretary to the Office of the Prime Minister. This comes after the unexpected resignation of Pita Wise, who stepped down yesterday due to personal reasons. Rokovada expressed hope that the Prime Minister would make a decision today to ensure the role of Permanent Secretary is filled promptly. He also mentioned that an announcement would be made soon.
