Samu Kerevi, the powerful center for the Wallabies, is set to make a return to the rugby international scene as he has been recalled for their Northern Tour. After a break from the international game, the Fijian forward is eager to don the gold jersey once again.

“It’s fantastic to be back in the squad. I’m thankful for this opportunity. The atmosphere is really exciting for the Wallabies,” Kerevi expressed. He acknowledged that he has had limited game time since their last matches in May, but he is eager to ease back in during this week, having already participated in a trial match.

Despite his recent playing experience in Japan, Kerevi feels confident in what it takes to perform at the international level, especially with a challenging match against England on the horizon. “There have been many conversations about the Japan league, but I know what’s required at Test level,” he stated. Kerevi brings substantial experience, with over 40 caps for Australia, and understands both the physical and mental preparation necessary for high-stakes matches.

Australia’s campaign kicks off against England at Allianz Stadium in London on Sunday at 3:10 AM, marking an important test for Kerevi and the team as they look to showcase their skills on a global stage.

This return serves as a beacon of hope for the Wallabies, highlighting resilience and readiness to seize opportunities, which is vital for the team’s success in upcoming matches.
