Kava was generously offered in Atlanta, USA, through a collaboration between Fiji’s Kava Korp and Kava Mama, an Atlanta-based business. The initiative aimed to support individuals recovering from recent hurricanes by providing them with free kava.
Kava Korp, a modern manufacturing and export facility located in Colo-i-Suva, made a significant donation to this cause via Kava Mama. John Sanday, a director at Kava Korp, highlighted Kava Mama’s pivotal role as a pioneer in the kava bar export sector in the United States.
“Kava Mama has played a vital part in the expansion of the kava industry in Fiji and the Pacific,” remarked Sanday. He emphasized that this gesture was a way to assist the community in their recovery efforts while expressing gratitude for their resilience during tough times.
Sanday noted that Kava Korp was not alone in providing support to those affected. However, Kava Mama did not respond to inquiries before the publication deadline.
