Kava flowed freely in Atlanta, USA, where an open invitation was extended by Kava Korp in partnership with Kava Mama. In a recent media announcement, Kava Mama welcomed survivors of recent hurricanes to enjoy complimentary kava.
This uplifting community event was made possible through the collaboration between Fiji’s Kava Korp and the US-based Kava Mama. Kava Korp, a locally-owned and advanced manufacturing facility located in Colo-i-Suva, made a generous donation to support the initiative.
Kava Korp director John Sanday expressed appreciation for Kava Mama, noting its pivotal role as the pioneer of kava bar exports in the United States. He stated, “Kava Mama has significantly contributed to the growth of the kava industry in Fiji and the Pacific. This is our way of helping them recover from the devastation and demonstrating our gratitude and solidarity during tough times.”
Mr. Sanday also mentioned that Kava Korp is not alone in its support for the affected communities. Kava Mama did not respond to inquiries by the time of publication.
