In Atlanta, USA, a community event centered around free kava took place, following a collaboration with Kava Korp from Fiji. Kava Mama, an Atlanta-based kava provider, extended an open invitation to individuals affected by recent hurricanes, offering them complimentary kava.
This uplifting event stemmed from the partnership between Fiji’s Kava Korp and Kava Mama, aiming to foster community spirit and support those in need. Kava Korp, known for its modern manufacturing and export facility in Colo-i-Suva, made a generous contribution to Kava Mama for this initiative.
John Sanday, director of Kava Korp, highlighted that Kava Mama was chosen due to its significant role in leading kava bar exports in the United States. He emphasized the importance of supporting the community during difficult times and acknowledged the contributions of Kava Mama to the kava industry in Fiji and the wider Pacific region. Sanday noted that Kava Korp’s efforts were part of a broader support movement, as other companies have also stepped up to assist. Kava Mama did not respond to inquiries by the time of publication.
